Description
Leaf Shine adds an instant, natural shine to your plant’s leaves. It removes water stains and provides a protective glossy layer that keeps dust at bay.
How to use Plant Leaf Polish
1. Number of sprays
- Use 1–2 light sprays per leaf (depending on size)
- For small plants:
→ 2–4 sprays total is enough - For large plants:
→ Spray lightly across the surface, not soaking
The goal is a thin, even layer, not wet or dripping leaves.
2. Places of use
Where to apply
- On top side of leaves only
- Best for:
- Indoor plants (ornamental)
- Plants with smooth, broad leaves (like ficus, monstera, rubber plant)
Avoid using on
- Underside of leaves (blocks pores)
- Hairy or fuzzy leaves (like African violet)
- Succulents or cacti
- Edible plants (herbs, vegetables)
- Flowers or buds
These surfaces can be damaged or clogged by polish.
3. Usage tips (important)
Before applying
- Clean dust first:
- Wipe with a damp cloth
- Make sure leaves are:
- dry
- cool (not in direct sun)
During application
- Hold spray 20–30 cm away
- Spray lightly, evenly
- Optionally:
- Spray onto a cloth → wipe leaves (best control)
After applying
- Let leaves air dry
- Don’t place plant in direct sunlight immediately
- Avoid touching leaves until dry
Safety & care tips
- Use once every 2–4 weeks only
→ Overuse can clog leaf pores - Apply in a well-ventilated area
- Keep away from pets (some formulas aren’t pet-safe)
Pro tip (most important)
Leaf polish is for appearance, not plant health
For healthy plants:
- Regular cleaning with water is often better
- Use polish occasionally for shine, not daily care
